REPORT ACONCERN

If you have any concerns at all about CSE, it’s really important that you speak out and contact someone who can help. There are a number of organisations who you can report suspected CSE to, see below for further information. If you’re a young person who is concerned about CSE, we’d recommend talking about your concerns in a trusted adult – whether that’s a relative, teacher, or other responsible adult.

Bedfordshire Police

In an emergency, you should always call 999.

If you have information about CSE you want to report to the police, you can call 101

Crimestoppers

Crimestoppers is an independent charity that allows people to pass on info anonymously.

Call them on 0800 555 111 or report online.

NSPCC

If you’re an adult worried about a child, you can contact the NSPCC on 0808 800 5555.

If you’re under 18 you can ring ChildLine on 0800 1111.

CEOP

The Child Exploitation Online Protection Centre provides a wealth of advice for people of all ages. You can also report a concern online.

LSCB

During office hours you can contact the Luton Borough Council rapid intervention and assessment team on 01582 547 653. Out of office hours please call 0300 300 8123.

Bedford MASH

You can contact the multi agency support hub (MASH) on 01234 718 700 (office hours) or ring 0300 300 8123 out of hours.

Central Beds LSCB

Contact Central Bedfordshire Council’s Access and Referral Hub on 0300 300 8585 or visit the Local Safeguarding Children Board’s website.

NWG Network

The NWG is a charitable organisation which has a free 24/7 anonymous helpline for CSE. Call or text 116 000.
